National Services Group encourages corporate and employee community involvement in many ways. National Services Group provides the first executive level employment for many of our employees; this gives NSG an interesting opportunity to set a strong example. We take this opportunity seriously.
Every year NSG District Managers across the country paint homes for free. This is usually done in the spring, and in addition to providing training for our employees "Charity Paints" provide needy families a much needed paint job. District Managers work with local organizations to locate and set up the charity painting projects. Numerous families and organizations have been assisted through our "charity painting" program.
National Services Group divisions are encouraged to hold food drives, blood drives, and get involved with charitable organizations. Suppliers, such as Frazee Paints, Parker Paints and Kwal-Howells Paints often donate paint and manpower to NSG charitable initiatives. To promote this involvement the "Divisional Health Matrix," the grading system for all NSG divisions, provides points for community involvement. Points are tallied at the end of the year and contribute to the naming of the Division of the Year.
The role National Services Group employees play in the community ranges from sitting on the board of directors of charities to volunteering time and finances. NSG executives hold Board of Director positions at Share Ourselves (an Orange County assistance Charity) and The Make a Wish Foundation (Orange County). NSG helps the Irvine University Hospital and the Red Cross with blood drives. And, NSG helps with volunteers and donations at Share Ourselves, Christmas in April, Orangewood, and many other charitable organizations.
The entire NSG management team is committed to charity and community involvement. This commitment is shown through encouraging involvement at every level in the organization and by setting the example. NSG plans to continue and expand this community involvement.
